Welcome to Our Home and garden, we hope you will enjoy reading about our tips and information on 'Do it yourself' indoor and outdoor home projects. We will endeavour to help you with tips on what we have learnt over the years as I will have a go at anything, (but Shhh! I don't like letting this out of the bag but my father is a Carpenter/ Builder by trade with 60yrs experience in the Trade that I've got to fall back on if I get stuck.) So the only Tradesman I've employed to do a job in Our Home and Garden was to supply and erect our new Kitchen cupboards, (now that's a story in itself) when we did our kitchen ronovation, rear patio area which is 24'x18' with a flat roof on each side and gable in the middle.

Not trying to pull my own chain but it cost a fortune and I reckon at the end of the day I could have done just as good a job as the Professionals and saved a lot of money. We hope you can learn from our Mistakes and our achievements as I have done large jobs from building the ensuite, erecting a garage or carport to  interior painting, laying new tiles in your kitchen, bathroom and the exterior balcony and paving a new barbeque area for entertaining.  In the garden we will give you information about trees and plants, where to and not to plant them. We will also tell you about long time favourites like Azaleas, Roses, Hydrangeas, Pelagonians, geraniums, seedlings, bulbs and annuals.
